I had the pleasure of working as the Set Photographer on the upcoming feature film Baraki, the cinematic adaptation of the acclaimed Belgian comedy series whose first two seasons, released in 2020, were met with great success.
Through this assignment, I wanted to highlight the people behind the scenes—the talented professionals we sometimes forget about while being carried away by the story unfolding on screen. Behind every emotion, every laugh, and every memorable moment lies the dedication, expertise, and shared vision of an entire crew working together to bring a film to life.
This experience allowed me to document not only the world of the film itself, but also the human energy that drives a production set. I discovered an environment where creativity, collaboration, and passion are at the heart of everything. Connecting with artists and technicians who share the same visual and creative language was both inspiring and rewarding.
Being part of this journey was a true privilege, and I hope it will be the first of many similar experiences in the future.
